“Done is Better than Perfect”

It is so simple and yet so powerful at the same time.

As an entrepreneur, you put yourself out there with every project, product and offer.

You open yourself up to criticism and sometimes that can paralyze us as we never feel our work is “perfect” yet.

But then what happens is we either move super slow and time slips by or we actually never get to publishing the new course or launching the new product.

I know when I was working on my 6 Steps to Selling on Amazon FBA course I ran into the same thing.

I spent months working on the content but never actually getting it on video and finishing a section.

I felt like I could still improve the slides or add a new part here or there.

But after hearing this quote “Done is Better Than Perfect” as a philosophy I took it to heart and recorded all 4 hours of my course in just a few nights of work.

Is it perfect – no, but are students getting value out of it – you bet!

And that’s when I realized you can always update and improve later, but if you never actually get something out, you won’t get any results. And the success my student have had helps motivate me to keep going.

So for whatever you have on your TO DO list or the progress you want to make on starting your own business, just try to get something done NOW and then work to improve or perfect it later.

This advice really is a game changer if you follow it.
